What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover via our secured checkout.  We also accept PayPal payments. If you prefer to mail your payment, we accept personal and company checks and money orders.  Checks may require clearance before order is shipped.  Sorry, no CODs.

 

 

Is my credit card information secure?

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Information is stored behind a firewall, against a password protected database system. Whenever sensitive information is accessed it is transmitted using strong SSL encryption.  These measures are designed to keep your information safe and secure when shopping on our site.

 

 

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free for customers in the continental United States. 

 

There is a $10 shipping charge for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO, US territories, & Canada.  Many items are not available for shipment to these locations, including all popcorn and concession supplies, aquariums, furniture and rugs. 

 

 

When will my order be shipped?

Most items are in stock for shipment from our warehouse or directly from the manufacturer within 3-5 business days.  We will email to let you know when your order has been shipped and provide tracking information when available.  In the event that an item cannot be shipped within 7-10 business days of your order date, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to change or cancel your order.

 

 

How are orders shipped?

Orders are sent via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. 

 

 

Is expedited shipping available?

Overnight or expedited shipping is available for some products.  For an expedited shipping quote, use the “Contact Us” form on our website, or email info@houseintoahome.com   Please provide your zip code and the name of the item you are interested in and we will provide a quote as quickly as possible.

 

 

I have a question about a product or need information about an order. How can I contact you?

Please use the “Contact Us” form on our website, or email info@houseintoahome.com  We respond to email 7 days a week.  Using email to answer questions helps us keep our costs and prices low.  If you have a question or issue that cannot be resolved via email, we can be reached via phone at (877) 262-0339 on Monday – Friday from 9 to 4 Central time. 

 

 

What are your return policies?

We want you to be pleased with your purchase and will accept authorized returns of eligible items.

Authorization:

Contact us by e-mailing returns@houseintoahome.com for a return merchandise authorization within 14 days of receipt of your item.  

 

Shipping: 

Customers are responsible for securely shipping and insuring products returned to HouseintoaHome.com.  Returned items must arrive within 30 days of receipt.

Refund: 

We will issue a refund of the item(s) price for authorized returns received in new, saleable condition.  Shipping charges are not refundable.  Returned items are not eligible for any original free shipping offer.  Actual postage costs will be deducted from the refund issued. (This means if your order originally qualified for free shipping, the actual shipping costs will be applied on the return.) 

 

Non-Returnable items:

 

Sheets, pillowcases, AND DOWN PRODUCTS CANNOT BE RETURNED ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THEIR PACKAGING.   Under health and hygiene regulations these products cannot be resold and we do not accept their return. 

 

All items must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging and tags. Returns of bedding or clothing that has been used or washed are not accepted for any reason.  


Custom-made and special order items may not be returned. In the rare case of a custom-made item that is defective or damaged upon receipt, the item will be repaired or replaced.

 

We reserve the right to refuse any item that is not in saleable condition or is returned after 30 days from receipt.



 

Popcorn machines and supplies, aquariums, aquatic furniture and concession equipment may not be returned directly to us, but are covered under manufacturers’ warranties.  Please contact the manufacturer for details.

  

 

Does the order information I provide remain private?

We are committed to maintaining our customers’ privacy.  The name, address, and email information you provide when placing an order is used only to fill your order and is given only to those needing the information in order to complete the order, such as shipping companies, etc.  We never sell or provide your information to outside parties.  

 

We request, but do not require, your phone number when placing an order.  The number will be used only to provide to UPS or FedEx for shipping questions or to contact you with questions regarding your order should we be unable to contact you via email.
